Oak Alley 种植园Oak Alley Plantation

New Orleans is delicious!

An hour up the Mississippi from New Orleans sits Oak Alley, the sugar plantation from the postcards. From a distance I took a first shot of the big house. I turned around, and there was a sign right beside me: I had been standing next to the rebuilt cabins, where the enslaved lived.

Then I walked in and took another. I did not think the house was that beautiful anymore.
